White Light Scanning
3D White Light Scanning is a scanning technique that uses a non-contact optical scanning method with white light source by fringe projection. White Light Scanning picks up the point coordinates from the surface of the object being scanned. This digitization process is carried out using conjunction optical technology and digital image processing to extract the coordinates of points on the surface of an object.
Applications: Reverse engineering, Dimensional Inspection of components, Optical Digistisation, Rapid prototyping, Inspection, Quality control
